King's Halal Mediterranean Food (حلال) - Authentic Flavors in Sacramento

The food was delicious. I got a gyro Philly and I could not finish it because it was packed. The workers were super nice and the service was timely. I would definitely recommend trying this place out and the prices are very good.

My philly gyro was loaded with flavor and sauces. My friends got the chicken bowls and the shawarma wraps. Spicy sauce was not too spicy but just enough for it to hit. Great place and vibes. Definitely recommend

“I was on my way to a wedding and stopped at this Halal restaurant on J St. in Sacramento in the evening. Parking is a big issue here—there’s only street parking, and you need to be very careful. There’s a bus stop right in front of the restaurant, and if you park or even stop there briefly, an automatic camera will take a picture of your car, and you’ll get a ticket in the mail. Unfortunately, this happened to me, which was frustrating. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. They offer a good variety of Halal dishes, and everything was well-prepared. However, the food took longer than expected to be ready. The restaurant itself was clean, but the atmosphere was not great. The space is very small, and the restroom was not in good condition, which took away from the overall experience. I deducted one star because of the atmosphere and restroom, but overall, the food and service were good. If you’re looking for tasty Halal food, this place is worth a visit—just be mindful of the parking situation!”

Really awesome food, friendly people, and chill vibes! So glad we came in for dinner. My wife had the falafel platter and I had the gyro plate. The flavors were incredible. The owner is from Afghanistan and makes his own spices. Definitely worth coming in!

Had some time to kill before needing to go to a wedding. Found KMF right next to my hotel. Went in around 12:30pm. It was quiet but welcoming. The person that took my order greeted me with a warm smile and was very kind. Ordered a gyro Philly and it was fantastic. Wish I looked at the menu a bit more because they had so many more delicious options! When I visit Sacramento again, I’m definitely coming back!

Great lunch spot and likely the best gyros in the area! Friendly owner and staff, delicious food, decent price. This is a go-to spot. Agree with the sentiment that the storefront could use a refresh, because it is pretty on the inside, but you wouldn't know from the street.

If you’re unfamiliar with Mediterranean cooking, try the Chicken Bowl or the Lamb Gyro with a side of Fries. Don’t let the size of the plate fool you. With rice, fresh cucumber and tomato, bite sized chicken pieces, a medium amount of spice, and a drizzle of cream, it’s enough to satisfy your hunger while leaving room for a sweet treat (halal ice cream or popsicles)

Stopped by after work. Staying at the Marriott down the street. (Flight Crew). Had really good reviews and I gotta say it didn’t disappoint. Asked for it spicey and it had some good kick. Friendly staff. Chill atmosphere. Only critique I’d add is they should repaint the front of the building. Whole area is kinda run down.

Delicious! Ordered the chicken kebab plate -$13 Added a side of tzatziki sauce ($1.00) really yummy sauce! The chicken came in large pieces, 2 skewer sticks worth with red onion and already taken off the skewer for inhaling! Haha. The box comes with 4 slices of naan bread A side of hummus A side salad of red onions sliced cherry tomatoes cucumber and olive Also the the chicken was over a bed of basmati rice. You can count on me to be back! I wish I knew about this place sooner. Thank you!
